Description:   Limited Edition signed  "POLJOT RUSSIAN CHRONOGRAPH" with MOONPHASE and CALENDAR - only 500 of this limited edition "BURAN" model made!  POLJOT (meaning Pilot in English) Russian watches are made by the First Moscow Watch Factory.  In 1992 and 1993 the factory was awarded with prestigious "XX Golden Trophy For Quality" and "XXI International Trophy For Quality".  POLJOT watches are considered to be on a level with the finest watches in the world.  Commissioned  in 1927, the First Moscow Watch Factory produced it's first pocketwatches in 1930 and continues it's tradition of manufacturing fine watches to this day.

BURAN (meaning "storm" or more appropriately "snow storm") limited edition, this excellent timepiece features a fully mechanical manual wind model 31679 movement with 25 ruby jewels, a chronograph (stopwatch) feature, date only calendar, a true 29.5 day moonphase display and a shock resistant balance assembly.  Silver dial with brown leather band, signed BURAN on the back and the clasp.  Stainless steel bezel and screw on back with mineral glass crystals.  Watch is water resistant up to 3 atm.  Case diameter is 1-1/2" in diameter (without crown) length is 1-7/8" (to tip of the lugs), thickness 1/2".  The chronograph function features a center mounted sweep seconds hand and a minutes counter hand (30 min scale) on subdial to the right.  Seconds subdial is located to the left of the center, with date window at the 12 position.  True moonphase dial is located at the 6 positon and features both moon and moon calendar hand indications through the 29.5 day cycle of the moon.  Serial number of the limited edition is engraved on the back cover.  This watch is brand new.  Comes with factory passport, Russian/English instruction booklet and factory box and guarantee.  I rarely see watches this nice with all of these features and I've grown terribly fond of these Poljot Limited Edition watches.  I've collected several of them in the last few years and they sell quickly.  Be one of only 500 people in the world to own one of these limited edition watches!
