This is a "Harvard" Swiss made Open Face Split Second Chronograph.  Complicated split second chronograph movement hsd two center seconds hands separately controlled through the crown and push button to the left of the crown on the case edge.  The movement is highly complicated, signed "HARVARD" (see pictures) with two chronograph hands for clocking separate events.  Activating the chronograph by depressing the crown, both center seconds hands begin tining, then depressing the button at the 11 o'clock position, the first center seconds hand stops and the next continues on.  Depressing the crown a second time stops the hand, while depressing the crown a third time resets the hands to zero.  Dial has black Arabic Numerals, an outer chronograph chapter, a seconds bit, 30 minute chronograph resgister, and is in good condition with a light and hairline runing through the center and a repaired chip between the 4 and 5 showing some age.  Movement is ~49mm (about a 16 size in American measure), in excellent condition, running well and keeping good time.  Case is ~53mm in diameter, a C.W.C. Co. 'PLANET' 14k gold filled with a plain polished hinged back and glass covered inner bezel to protect the movement while still allowing you to view the inner works.  Case is in good condiiton with no brassing or wear through.
