Description: Here's a watch you don't see every day! A 16 size South Bend "Studebaker" with a Montgomery Dial. A very desirable and collectable watch and they seem to be getting scarcer by the year. In great condition, very nice stem set movement is running well and keeping good time. Movement is "South Bend Watch Co, Studebaker, Double Roller, 8 Adjustments, 21 jewel, with gold screw down jewel settings & nicely straignt line damaskened nickel plates, Serial Number 1,168,402. Case is excellent showing virtually no wear, yellow gold filled, coin edged with engine turned back and an open initial shield, the engraving is still crisp as is the crown, bow is tight and shows no signs of use. Nice original montgomery dial with Arabic RR style numerals and red 5 minute markers, signed "South Bend". Overall a really nice 21j Studebaker. Nice watch for a South Bend collector.
