Description:  c1882 Rockford Model 6, s/n 589,924, 18 size 17 jewel YGF Hunter Cased Pocketwatch.  Gold filled triple hinged case showing virtually no wear, no brass, and but a few very light pocket scratches, looks very nice and has an open initial shield, pretty much as near mint as I have seen.  Original Blue Morning Glory hands on an excellent Roman numeral dial signed "Rockford " in old Englis script.  Movement is excellent, stem wind, lever set, 15 jewels, screw down jewel settings and a most beautiful nickel damaskeening.  The Model 6 movement is popular for it's full plate exposed escapenment (plate cut to reveal escape wheel and pallet fork).  Running well and keeping good time.  This is one of only three I have left in my entire collection, over 100 years old and it is an uncommon watch, less than 2500 made (less known to exist).
