Description: c1899 Hampden 18 size 21 jewel John Hancock Railroad, Arabic RR dial. Movement is in excellent condition, Serial No. 1,280,106, with 21 jewels, lever set, screw down jewel settings, adjusted, two tone damaskeened nickel plates, safety pinion. Case shows some wear, with a bit of brass showing on the stem and bow, no dings or dents. Dial is in excellent condition Arabic double sunk RR with red 5 minute markers, no hairlines, no chips. Hands are blued spade and poker style. Good looking watch. Keeps good time. A nice collectible, and very reasonably priced Railroad, sure to appreciate in value over the years.
