Description: c1941 Ships Chronometer U.S. Navy - This Chronometer is a WW-II Navy chronometer with 17 jewels, serial # N8681. Made by Hamilton in Lancaster, PA. Completely original Hamilton three tier inner box, reproduction outer box. Works have been professionally overhauled by a master watchmaker who previously worked at the Navy Depot. It has been cleaned, oiled, and adjusted. This precision time peace is in excellent running condition, keeping time to it's original specifications. All hands, brass, dial, winding key and hex locking key are original to this time piece.
