Movement has a verge escapment and a chain driven fusee.  Beautiful period balance cock with wings and scroll work, cock signed on circumference "LE TEMS REGLE - TOUT - MOI IE - REGLE LE TEMS.  The watch is nearing 300 years old and and in good condition for it's age.  The watch is key wind in the back and key set in the front.  A key is supplied with the watch, which may be the original key.  Chain may be orignal (came with the watch) but is sold separately for $150.  The watch is all original.  The dial has a couple of hairlines and the outer case shows wear.  The watch is in as found condition and it seems to runs fine, but I can make no guarantees to it's time keeping ability.
