Description: c1886 Elgin 18 size 17 jewel sterling silver hunter cased pocketwatch, stem wind and lever set, serial #2,126,266. Fancy Porcelain Dial with floral center and concentric Arabic numerals surrounded by a circle of gold inlay, has an almost invisible hairline at the 8 where there is also a very small repaired chip on the edge (covered by the bezel). Has a clean glass crystal. Triple matching original blued open morning glory hands. Runs well and is keeping good time. Movement is adjusted and nicely damaskeened. Sterling silver case has multi-colored pink green and yellow gold overlay on an engraved floral and leaf design with open initial shield. A very unique and pretty watch!
