Description: c1872 Elgin 18 size, 15 jewel Keywind/Keyset Open Face Pocketwatch, Gilded Movement, Full Plate, serial no.278,763. "SILVEROID" Case in very good condition. Running well and seems to be keeping good time. Porcelain dial is original with black Roman numerals, original spade Hands, signed "ELGIN NAT''L WATCH Co", very good conditon, no hairlines that I can see. 5th year of production for Elgin. Reasonably priced.
