Description: c1943 Elgin B.W. Raymond, 21 jewel 16 size Bureau of Ships US Navy Comparing Watch in Government Contract Case. Serial number 41,755,996. Movement is very good condition, stem set. Dial is black, signed GCT, white space hands, some light sctartches (see pics). Back of the case has government contract incription "Bureau of Ships US Navy Comparing Watch, 9533 - 1943", some wear on back, shows use. Watch keeps good time. It's getting hard to find Elgin GCTs, and unlike the Hamilton version, these are hard to come by.
