Circa 1840 Mah Longcase Grandfather Clock with painted dial. In Excellent working order.  Maker: David Lumsden of Anstruther, Scotland 1827/1850.  This one is simply a of work of art!  This clock sits approximately 84" tall and 19" wide.  The wood has been refinished and is in wonderful condition.  There are no cracks in the wood case whatsoever, just stunning... look at the pictures!  The movement and lead weights and pendulum are all original.  There have been no replacement parts on this clock, it's all original and gorgeous!  Chimes the hours on the original brass bell.  The clock face is very crisp and clear with no fading and it is signed "D. Lumsden" and "Anstruther".  Excellent details on the painted face of clock depicts a what appears to be a fishing boat in a bay or cove.
