Description:  MX-6 is a Poljot handcrafted engineering masterpiece. Movement is a fuseé (chain-driven) spring detent escapement, 15 ruby-jewel, damascened, 24-karat gold-plated movement with real diamond endcap jewel, compensation balance and palladium helical spring.  Movement in solid brass housing with heavy beveled crystal cover (4½" diameter). Fully-gimbaled inside a three-tier carrying case with red mahogany "piano" finish. Serial number, Cyrillic markings on dial.  The dial marked with a seconds subdial and a 56 hr up-down wind indicator subdial.  The chronometer is set in gimbals so that its position will no be disturbed by the ship's motions, the gimbals being secured in the inner box.  Cover of inner case opens to display clock through glass-covered section, which also opens so you can wind or set clock. This is a beautiful clock, it also has a outer box, beautifully finished and in excellent condition.  Real nice example and reasonably priced, new ones go for over $1500!
