Description: Waltham Appleton Tracy 18 size 17 jewel pocketwatch, serial # 5,706,535 in a 25 year Keystone hunter case. The watch starts right up on the first wind, ticks away with good balance wheel motion and is a good timekeeper. The case is in very good shape with no dents to speak of, but does show some wear on the back (no brass showing through though), the crown is crisp and the bow is tight. The double sunk Roman numeral dial has red 5 minute markers on the outer chapter, looks great, but does have a couple of short hairlines (see pictures). The glass crystal is in great shape. The watch winds and sets with ease. The covers all work properly and the hinges are tight. The front cover pops right open properly. The movement is absolutely gorgeous, in excellent condition, clean and running as it should. Not bad at all for a watch that is 113 years old!
