Bid with Confidence, as we have run a Carfax Report which shows a clean history, feel free to run your own report on this vehicle.  As with any pre-owned vehicle, there may be scratches, chips or normal wear on the car consistent with it's age and mileage, although I can attest to the absolute beauty of this vehicle.  The carpets are in average condition from various cleanings throughout the years and the leather has normal wear for a car of this age, nothing that detracts from the beauty of this luxurious automobile.  The wood trim has some fading, but I have a brand new wood trim kit which will be provided with the car at no extra charge.  The pictures barely do this car justice.  I'm sure you'll love it!  

V8 twin-cam, all-aluminum 4.6-liter 280-horsepower engine.  4-speed automatic transmission with electronic shift control.  Driver and passenger side airbags.  Handling features include an all-independent electronically controlled air-spring suspension, antilock brakes, and speed-sensitive power steering.  The Mark VIII is known in performance circles for for it's acceleration, steering, handling, and antilock brakes and this one has the Panther performance package as well!

The engine is silky smooth, has a sporty growl in acceleration, and delivers outstanding passing power at highway speeds.  veraged fuel economy is about 20 mpg and I've routinely seen 24 to 25 MPG on highway travel.  Optional traction-control system on this car assists with wet or winter driving.  The Mark VIII is rear wheel drive, agile but with a supple air-suspension ride you'd expect from a luxury Lincoln.  Steering and braking are top notch.  Gauges on the sweeping 2-tier dash are clearly marked and the controls are intuitive, make you feel right at home!  Also has the remote keyless entry and door pad combination lock which recalls the settings for both the power driver's seat and the power outside mirrors.

Custom Convertible conversion by Coach Builders Limited of High Springs, Florida.  The conversion cost alone was $13,440 ... more than the reserve price on this auction!  The vehicle sold for $55,875 in 1994 including the Panther package and the conversion cost!  There were very few of these made, so you could be one of a very few people in the world to own a luxury Lincoln Mark VIII convertible.
