SUMMARY DESCRIPTION:  1981 Chevy Corvette with factory mirrored glass T-Tops in great condition with low miles.  This Corvette runs well and handles like a dream.  Original camel leather interior is in excellent condition.  The exterior is in great shape with minor imperfections that would be consistent with model year and age.  No accidents, but one small spot on the drivers fender showing a stress crack (about an inch or so long).  The paint is good with plenty of shine with some road chips here and there that have been touched up for the most part.  The headlights go up and down without delay as well as all other lighting all in working order.  The engine is a 350 in original stock condition, running well.  The car has passed a recent inspection.  Has factory alloy wheels and a matching set of BF Goodridge tires.  Original sales brochure comes with the car and all factory and engine tags are intact.  The transmission is the stock 3 speed auto in good working order.  This Corvette has low mileage, 60,520 miles (CarFax Certified) and the condition of the car is consistent with the mileage.  This is a beautiful corvette and will make a great everyday diver or nice collectable.  Please do not bid unless serious about purchasing this car, have to sell it quick to finance my next vintage automobile!

DETAILED DESCRIPTION:  You don’t see this for sale everyday!  This Corvette was the pride and joy of the previous owner who regrettably traded it on a family car before I acquired it from the dealer.  This Corvette has only 60,520 Original Miles that have been Carfax certified.  This car is finished in Beige over Mahogany with a matching Camel Leather Interior.  I have tested all of the power features and everything is in excellent working order except for the ac.  Also the gear selector level does not move (I think you will be able to survive without that).  All of the power window, lock, and mirror switches work and even the power antenna too!  All of the gauges work, the retractable headlights work and more!  In the road tested this Corvette it rides and drives really well.  It starts right up and accelerates very nicely.  Like any older Corvette of course the ride is not quite as smooth as todays modern cars but you already know that. If you are looking for a very nice example of a 23 year old Corvette than this could be the one!

The exterior is in excellent condition. The 2 tone paint is clean and looks very nice. There are some minor nicks around the usual areas from age and use of course. Also I believe the paint and striping is all ORIGINAL FROM 1981. I find it hard to believe and if you follow our sales regularly I never make a statement like that so no one will ever be disappointed, but I just had to mention it on this car. I looked at the body lines and around the edges and I feel 99% confident in saying this car is all original 1981 GM stock! Of course I can not guarantee that as I was not the original owner, but one glance around this car and you will be a believer too!  The bumpers, moldings, glass, t-tops, and more all look great too.  The factory alloy wheels are in excellent condition and riding on a matched set of 4 BF Goodrich T/A Tires that are all in good condition.

The interior is also in excellent condition.  The leather seats are clean and look very nice with less wear than you'd anticipate.  The carpets and original GM floor mats are clean and show only minimal wear.  The dash has no cracks either and looks great.  There is some minor wear around the center console from general use.  The rear cargo area and cargo cover are in very nice condition as well.  And the original t-top covers come with this car too.  Just take a look at the many pictures and see how exceptional this car truly is.

not like new.  This car is in very nice condition for a 23 YEAR OLD CAR, but it is not perfect.  Buyers are
cautioned to make sure they understand this is an older car.  Older cars do not drive and handle as smoothly
as a new car does regardless of how nice they are and older Corvettes have a reputation for more of a sports
car ride.  Also this is not a restored car, new car, or show car, but it does have only 60,520 certified original
miles.  I remind bidders who are new to the ebay auction world or just expect way to much from an older sports
car.  I have been very happy with this car and with a few relatively minor touch-ups here and there it will be
someone's pride and joy again.  This is simply a reminder to all bidders tat this vehicle is USED and not new.
Please expect a certain amount of wear, use, and flaws as is typical on ANY used car.  All used cars including
this one may have nicks, chips, scratches and any other marks that are associated with use consistent with age
and mileage of the vehicle. Obviously a car that is 23 years old will show more wear and have more flaws than
one that is 2 years old.
