SUMMARY DESCRIPTION:  1980 L-82 Corvette 383 stroker tuned port injection 420 hp engine, overdrive transmission.  1980 Chevy Corvette with mirrored glass T-Tops not only in great condition with low miles, but also built out with a Tuned Port Fuel Injected 383 Stroker Engine, Side Pipes and Stinger Hood.  This Corvette will pin you to your seat and do it in style!

This Corvette has only 86,800 miles and the car has been completely restored and reconditioned .   Has polished and sealed factory alloy wheels and a matching set of Grand Am radial GTs tires.  The car has passed a recent state safety inspection.  

Exterior:  New Corvette red paint less than 2 years old and in excellent condition, original factory aluminum wheels polished adb sealed to maintain shine, chrome side pipes, new radials with less than 500 miles on them. A new 1967 style stinger hood from Eklers.

Interior:  Oyster white, custom mother of pearl console and instrument panel overlay, new 2 tone seat upholstery, new Pioneer stereo/cd player with matrix graphics display and steering wheel mounted remote control, 2 pouches for t-tops, new rear compartment doors and new sun visors.  Looks fantastic, just take a peek at the pictures, I think you'll agree!

Features:  Alarm system with motion detection and start disable, on board computer to control engine and transmission lockout.  Alarm has flashing light to warn onlookers and computer has a check engine light.

Drivetrain:  New 383 stroker engine, new GM 4 bolt main block bored .30 , 10.3 compression forged aluminum pistons,scat crank, heavy duty oil pump, Xe compensated 268 cam, 1.6 aluminum roller rockers, vortec heads, headers, serpentine belt system, new chrome water pump, new a/c compressor , adjustable fuel pressure regulator, 58 mm BBK throttle body, port matched plenum, Edlebrock large runners and intake, 24 lb fuel injectors, hp electric fan with adjustable fan temperature switch, new 105 amp alternator, double roller timing chain, 2400 rpm stall convertor, 700r4 covette auto trans, heavy duty transmission cooler, custom tuned performance chip.  And, a 165 MPH Speedometer has recently replaced the stock 85 MPH speedo.

To say this car runs like a dream is an understatement, at 420 hp this magnificent Corvette and will absolutely pin you to your seat on accelleration, it cruises effortlessly at 100 MPH. Vette is in very good condition, has almost everything under the hood new, Paint on a scale of 1-10 is a 9, has a couple of stress cracks, but not too noticable.  Interior is very good to excellent a/c works, electric door locks do not work, horn needs new contact, emergency brake needs new cable.  Car handles great and will launch hard and set you back in the seats, transmission performs well and allows you to cruise at highway speeds comfortably, it was inspected before install and found in good condition by transmission shop.  Engine has less than 1500 miles and was professionally built (not a crate motor).  Over $19,000 in parts and engine work alone and that doesn't count the labor!  I still have a few interior trim pieces to replace, but I have them all and will include them with the car if I haven't got them in before it sells.  You couldn't build this car for my asking price, it gets comments everywhere I take it.

Terms and Conditions of Sale:  The vehicle has a clear title to be delivered when the final payment is received.  Buyers are encouraged to inspect the vehicle prior to bidding if they so desire.  All inspections must be completed prior to bid submission, bids are binding and not subject to negotiation after the auction.  Sold as-is with no expressed or implied warrantee.  $500 deposit required within 3 days of auction close.  If using "Buy-it-Now", an immediate deposit is required.  Balance due within 10 days of auction close, title delivered and car can be picked up upon verification of total funds.

not like new.  This car is in very nice restored condition for a 23 YEAR OLD CAR, but it is not perfect.  Buyers are
cautioned to make sure they understand this is an older car.  Older cars do not drive and handle as smoothly
as a new car does regardless of how nice they are and older Corvettes have a reputation for more of a sports
car ride.  This is a restored car, but not a new car, or show car, but it does have only 86,685 miles.  This is simply
a reminder to all buyers that this vehicle is USED and not new.  Please expect a certain amount of wear, use, and
flaws as is typical on ANY used car.  All used cars including this one may have nicks, chips, scratches and any
other marks that are associated with use consistent with age and mileage of the vehicle. Obviously a car that is
23 years old will show more wear and have more flaws than one that is 2 years old.
