DESCRIPTION & CONDITION: Triple white Mercury Marquis 429 CID Convertible cruiser! Great driver, not a perfect car, has had some bodywork and paint, but its all there and even the the top is in good condition. Has new seat upholstery (see pics) and carpet. In general everything works, but it does have it foibles, the body work is not perfect, a fair job, but you can see tell-tale signs of it on inspection (lower quarter and rocker panels). There is some minor surface rust just inside the drivers door jamb and the white paint on the underside of the hood is peeling (looks as though it was not prepared properly). All the same, these paint flaws are not apparent when you look at the car on the outside. The bezels around the power window switches are loose and will require attention. The power windows do work, but require some manual assistance in the final few inches of rise. Power top seems to work fine. Would make a great everyday diver and has quite a bit of potential in the collectable market with it's factory 429 engine, one of the largest engines of the period. Runs and drives fine, tires are relatively new, lots of rubber left, mounted on a nice set of sport wheels with spinners. I also have the original rims and hubcaps for the car. Has the original factory in-dash 8-track player (not working), but an am/fm Cassette player is hooked in and is included with the car. With a little attention to detail this could be somebody's baby!
NADA value for this car is between
$6,020 (Low Retail) to $12,110 (Average Retail)

| Notice to
Buyers: As is typical of older or vintage vehicles I must remind all potential buyers that is still a used car. Buyers are cautioned to make sure they understand this is an older car and is not perfect, USED and not new. Please expect a certain amount of wear, use, and flaws as is typical on ANY used car. All used cars including this one may have nicks, chips, scratches, body work and any other marks or flaws that are associated with use and consistent with the age and mileage of the vehicle. Obviously a car that is 35 years old will show more wear and have more flaws than one that is 2 years old.
